A Better English Setter Rescue
Ryker at in-take.
Ryker's freedom ride!
Ryker needed to have surgery
for a broken leg.
He has begun physical therapy.
Ryker's at his temporary foster home. Maize, is helping to take care
him and she makes sure he stays calm & relaxed!
Here he is happy-go-lucky Ryker
transporting from rehab to his foster home.
Ryker has recovered after his leg surgery
and has moved to a new foster home.
He is doing great so far.
Hi my name is Ryker.  My foster mom and dad just adore me and always
tell me how handsome I am. I get along great with other dogs, but I don’t
always play with them as much as they would like because I’m too busy
looking for birds and other small animals. I also get along great with cats,
and act as if they aren’t even in the house. My foster mom says I
would do best in a home with a privacy fence or chain linked fence
because an IF might scare me.

I am such a lover but also get very timid at times when I’m not sure
of the situation... for example I don’t like the sound of the lawn mower,
so I get a little anxious if I hear one.  I am house broken and crate trained
and they tell me that's a good thing!

Oh, one more thing I think you need to know about me. I broke my leg
earlier this year. I don’t know if you followed my story on Facebook, but I
know that I had a lot of generous people help me thru that part of my
journey. Anyway, I just want you to know that because of that break, I
might get some arthritis as I get older. I don’t think it is that big of a deal
because from what I understand, any dog can get arthritis when they get
older.  The best part about me is I’m a gentle boy and I love to snuggle up
and cuddle. I love going for car rides and walks. If you met me,
you would fall in love like my foster mom and dad have. ❤
