A Better English Setter Rescue

My name is Bailey. My life has been turned completely upside down. I used to have people, but then they went away, and I had to live in a barn! Where did my people go? How did I end up in that barn?

 

I ADORE humans, and I want their attention. I love to be petted, and I’m all about belly rubs and cuddling. Who wouldn’t be?

 

I have been at a house called “foster” for a few weeks now. I have fun playing with the other dogs. While I love to run and play with the other dogs, I prefer to be fed by myself in my crate, and I prefer not to have to share toys.

 

I had to learn the rules about going potty outside. I get it most of the time, but sometimes I need a little reminder. Now that I know the rule, I kind of like doing it outside. The potty rule keeps my inside life less stinky! So you can expect me to get better and better at it!

 

When I’m done playing outside, I settle down pretty quickly in the house. That’s when I luxuriate in becoming a couch potato. Mmm, love that soft comfy furniture! As I relax in the warm house, I meditate on my former life. While I do think about it, I find that I don’t like to talk about it much, as it makes me sad.

 

I’m told that I like cats too much – so much that my new home should not have any cats. Why not? I sure like to chase them!  

 

I would love to find someone to give me the love and attention I have been missing and craving for so long!
